I can see you took some time with this, but it needs to be a little bit more engaging and the animation needs more flow and ease. You're also lacking a bit on realism. Although you may not want the animation to be too perfect, the movements are strange.

Other than that, great first animation!

It's actually alright. After searching through the forums here it seems as if long rendering is normal for old machines (I'm building a newer one with and I7 3.4 GHz processor and gtx 570 fermi video card soon). However I did find a way to speed it up after the many attempts to fix and redo my expor...

Crash when exporting as SWF (Flash)

I was trying to export my animation as a flash file and it keeps crashing half-way through the exportation. What's going on? It seems as if this program has a lot of exportation problems.

First one is the best. The others, I didn't like the flow so much because I didn't know if you meant to have while spots in the water (Not being sarcastic), but I think you should fill that a little better.

Wow, I'm actually pretty glad I joined this forum. I've seen a lot of cool animations on here and some of them are equivalent to the stuff I'm doing. I didn't know that this sites provides money making opportunities for good animators. Nice Job and I can't wait to show off what I have. ...After it f...

Wasn't much of a problem anyway, found an alternative with AS. I was asking because I saw that some of the most recent topics were from 2006 and around that time so I thought that this forum was almost dead.

Ways to make Rendering faster without loss of quality

So it's taking me nearly 4 hours to render an animation with 831 frames. I'm guessing it mostly has to do with the type of processor I'm using atm (Pentium 4), but are there anyways to make it faster without a loss of quality?

I'm using Anime Studio Pro 8.
Thanks.

Light effects

First of all, is this forum even still active? I was wondering if it is possible to add lighting effects in anime studio (Any version). When I say lighting effects I don't mean shapes, I mean lighting that actually reflects onto objects. Is that possible? Thanks. EDIT: Here is a better question. Wou...
