Use a lower frame rate

WMV should be pretty good. I'd highly recommend you try a lower frame rate (like 12 fps or 15, half the rate of your original), it should look good and be about half the size. At 7 minutes you probably won't get it much below 10mb (it can vary depending on what's the video of course). ________ Lambo...

You can't rotate in Flash (that I know of anyway). Try Toon Boom.

Absolutely, practice drawing. Go and sit on a bench and draw people going by. Draw as much as you can. Take a class. Otherwise the proportions will never come out right. I place my tablet directly in front of the screen while drawing. Also, be sure to set it to proportional. It will probably elimina...

BTW, kdiddy13, Foster's is done with Illustrator and After Effects as well as Flash, and Atomic Betty uses After Effects and some proprietary software as well as Flash. Yes, but the animation is primarily done in Flash which is what I thought he was asking about. The camera work and compositing in ...

Ed, Ed, and Eddie (you could say that instead of sending a link and having me figure it out)? I don't think they use Flash. The ones on the website are Flash for the reason of using them on the web and making them interactive. When they're made for broadcast I believe that they use various tradition...

We understand what you're talking about, but if you don't tell us which shows specifically, we can't help. Help us to help you. Foster's and Atomic Betty are being done in Flash. Most of the others I know of are being done "traditionally" (although probably on the computer using various pr...

Hey! Thanks for the compliments. I'm still working on it but it's been put on hold for a few days as I finish up my demo reel (my current job is ending in November, ugh, contracting can be a real drag). I got a job offer to do matchmoving and layout on a film out in NZ after my job ended in the Bay ...

It does indeed "suck the big wang," if you will. The lawyers, on the other hand, have made the cartoon a runaway success on the internet. These guys have been rocketed into internet fame and as a result, it's being seen by more people than if Cosby's lawyer hadn't done anything. Nothing li...

HOUSE OF COSBY'S! It's a hobbyist, kind of. They did it in After Effects, but it could easily have been done in Moho. Here's where it originally came from (and you can see the other episodes): http://www.channel101.com/shows/show.php?show_id=121 It was an entry into the monthly internet television c...

There's a new update on the doodling site. It's a work in progress, but you'll get the idea. You'll have to forgive that it's slightly ahead of season, but I'm in New Zealand at the moment and I'm all turned around (is it really spring?).

If you've got enough money, I think that they make a 8x6 graphire. The slightly larger size makes drawing a little easier. It still takes some getting used to, but it's much more intuitive than the mouse.

Wacom makes an inexpensive one called the Graphire. They were about $100 (probably cheaper on eBay). I had one for a number of years and it worked great. There are other brands out there, but I can't vouche for their quality as I've never used anything but a Wacom. They have several sizes. The small...

Cool. It's pretty great how vivid the colors look on black. The movement on the lines is oddly appealing, too. Kind of like a very vivid and relaxing dream or hallucination.

I'm glad you find my scratches inspiring! I'm looking forward to seeing more of what you come up with.

Yeah, I totally agre. I'm doing a longer animation all on black now (with an actual character! ). I'm hoping to have a rough of it up by the weekend. The colors really pop out. The Jester Hat was a neat expirement that really paid off!
