Re: Fencing Animation WIP

LOL @ varicose veins. I so agree. I straightened them a bit for the final version because they were bothering me too. Take a look and let me know what you think There are a few 180 degree rule violations in there.

Working on a fencing animation. I recently became involved in a fencing association and the sport has intrigued me so much so that it has inspired me to start working on this.

Re: Bike vs Evo

What really surprised me, is how well the built in Anime Studio shadow function works in adding depth to the Evo. Many people told me it almost looks 3D. I have always used the shadow function with default settings, but after watching a tutorial video and realizing how powerful it is, I have been me...

Re: Idrin

Funny you should say that Little Yamori. My brother in Japan did the Japanese not me and just 2 days ago he told me that there was a translation error that he was correcting to put out another version of the video. I guess what you spotted is what he was talking about.

Re: Save Goat Island

Yeah, the Chinese want to turn it into a shipping hub. The environmentalists want to preserve it because it's home to I think a 1/3 of the islands mangroves which are safe havens and feeding grounds for fish that serve the fishing villages in the area. Making Bone animation look like frame by frame

Is there a technique to make bone styled animation look like frame by frame? Maybe messing with frame rates or sample rates etc?

Film Fest or TV ready

Which would you rather concentrate your time on?

1. A meaningful or artistic short that is worthy of an award at a film festival.

or

2. An animated short that is more commercial/TV ready, like a pilot, in a bid to try and get a deal with a TV station.
