Following your directions, I was able to download the rar files and decode the swf files.

The displays of your bones and masking are great!!

Thank you for sharing!

If you like, I can put them up so others can get to them without so much trouble.

Heyvern, that is very, very nice. You whipped that out pretty quickly! Nice job with the gradient and the noise. I was wondering about the animated noise yesterday. I was trying for an effect where the noise was "too fast". You can change the offset and scale, but I was wanting to slow it ...

Yeah, kino. It's real good for getting clips out of your DV source, and then trimming and combining clips. but it's fairly limited. It isn't multitrack, and the effects are very rudimentary. I think cinelerra is a better choice for a NLV editor, and I hear jahshaka is also making progress.

Thanks so much for sharing. The idea of putting your content into folders for X and Y axis camera moves is excellent! I've been wondering how to get smooth transitions, and not get the "L" problem you alluded to.

Thanks again!

But I have a problem with my linux version. I cannot have video inside Anime Studio. Perhaps exporting the video to a image sequence and after importing them to AS with "Import Image sequence" it could work. Basically, the linux version cannot import video (well, only certain types of AVI...

Interesting Article at New Scientist

http://www.newscientisttech.com/article/dn11363?DCMP=Matt_Sparkes&nsref=game Like the FX guy at the end, I'm not sure how useful it would be, but I bet people who play Sims would see a benefit from this technique. (It seems an awful lot like doing motion capture and then fitting different chara...

The other thing to remember is that AS doesn't preview opacity of image layers. If you render the output or a frame, you will see the opacity you desire, but you cannot get "live feedback" of the opacity of a layer. (As far as I know, but I also put in a feature request some time ago for t...

Re: Blender 2.43 is out - and OMG it's good

If the render bake to UV does what I think it does, then it is going to be very very good news for AS users. You mean bake lighting and effects onto your model? That's what I've been trying to do with a release candidate version. Blender is not easy to learn, but if we all gang up on it here, we ho...
