It appears the character "pinhead" had been previously created and saved by the person making the tutorial. It would not be included in the version of Anime Studio that you are using. There are other characters in the Library folder of your copy of Anime Studio. You could use any of these ...

Your log demonstrates why your shorts are so successful: very close attention to detail and precise execution, which in turn implies being able to be objective about your own work and clearly seeing what needs fixing. Thanks for the posting. It helps me understand and appreciate the level of commitm...

It looks great! I see no problem using whatever software we can lay our hands on to assist us in creating animations. Purists might disagree.

But I am with you... there is so much to learn and do when creating an animation that any way we can find to save time in the process is worth testing.

I knew I could trust someone who makes such great animations so I went ahead and made the PayPal purchase. I immediately received an email that contained a link to a record of my purchase. This in turn contained another link for downloading the file. I have already opened the file. WOW!! I am going ...

I went to your link to purchase the files but could see no provision for downloading or otherwise acquiring the zip files. The links on the page lead only to the video itself, to Creative Commons, or to PayPal, or to your main website. The PayPal link works fine. I had almost finished paying when I ...

I just finished watching your video. I attempted to build the rig while comparing my progress to your video. I was able to do every step except for when you used the Curvature Tool (C). In the video it is not possible to see which way you are dragging or what you are doing with the Curvature Tool. D...

I understand the need for binding points. What I am wondering is whether or not some of the points of the 3 shapes (forearm, elbow, bicep) need to be welded to each other.

Thanks so much for taking time to post something on YouTube! I really appreciate it.

The good news: thinking of the elbow shape being in the middle of the shape order has helped a lot. The bad news: I still have not figured out how to create the Mandcon Rig. Should I be welding any of the points in the 3 shapes to each other? If so, which ones? I have used neeters_guy's illustration...

I, for one, would be interested in purchasing the file. PayPal sounds like a good way to go. I will watch this forum for an announcement when you have it set up. Your work is very inspiring. It will be great to be able to look inside and see how you put your things together. Good luck with this vent...

Aaahhhh! Some light is shed on the problem. Shape Order! That makes a lot of sense and helps me understand the operative principal in the rig. I was totally unaware of that aspect of the rig. I will give it a try. If I can't get it right, I will post an image of my problematic results. Thanks sbtamu...

Thanks sbtamu for the speedy response. Unfortunately your diagram does not help me get rid of the elbow loop when I bend the arm. Probably because I do not know how to interpret it correctly. I think my problem might have to do with binding points. I have tried several different approaches to point ...

I am having trouble figuring out how to get the Mandcon bone rig to work properly. I have looked at all the available references to it that I could find in the forum, I have downloaded and printed the GIF diagram dated 01/07/2010, and I have tried to build it in a variety of ways. But I cannot get t...

Yes, it is gory, but definitely worth viewing. Like watching German Expressionist paintings that have come alive.

thanks for another great tip.
