In ASpro 9 64bit the F5 quick preview doesn't seem to work at all.
In the 32 bit version It doesn't work if you have imported video in the project (QT in my case) If I delete the video layer the Preview works again.
Anyone else get this?

Re: trouble Importing AVI's into ASpro 9 64bit.
Thanks Fahim. I've gone back to the 32bit version to get reference video into my project but then hop back to 64bit to render. Messy but gets the job done. A great shame that Apple are not sharing QT on 64bit (Probably all part of their plan for word dominance) but It would be great if ASpro 64 coul...

Re: FREE Webinar: Character Rigging Using Smart Bones - Selg
Done and very informative though the bone locking technique doesn't work for me. The locked bones still move a little when I move the parent. I have always had this problem with bones though.
I highly recommend it to everyone even if you are experienced in rigging

My notification says:

Though I went by the notification last time and missed most of the webinar.
I'll check at 6pm just to be sure.

It seems that some other users (on another forum) have the same issues and have reported this as a bug.

Re: trouble Importing AVI's into ASpro 9 64bit.
I have just tried opening an uncompressed avi (from after effects CS6) and it won't open at all. I have also rendered out a avi (microsoft RLE) from the 32 bit AS and that still gives me a broken link icon and no video when imported into AS 64bit. Something is wrong somewhere. Could be my machine? I...

trouble Importing AVI's into ASpro 9 64bit.
I know QT doesn't work with the windows 64 bit version of AS pro and that I should use AVi's but I can't seem to import them. I just get a broken link graphic in my work space. I'm trying to import some ref video from my clients after effects (Cs6) project so I can match it. I have tried pretty much...

Thanks Ramon:
I seem to get tangled up with smartbones so this is a really handy script. It makes everything easier to find.

Re: Shape settings.
Hmm. it didn't seem to work on my laptop(AS9 pro 64bit). It ran but I still seemed to get a line around the shape when I didn't request one.
I'll try to register with AF and check out the newer version.

Re: Smooth lines/ reduce pionts function.
Many thanks Ramon. That works brilliantly
It's really good to be able to work with fewer points and then move them if need be.

Re: Smooth lines/ reduce pionts function.
Thank you. It was done in TVpaint, I thought it would be cool to morph to the actual logo in ASP. It took me a few hours too much...because of the many hundreds of points. Ah. TVP my rough animation weapon of choice. lovely drawing feel. And... why don't you simply use the "Scritps -> Draw -> ...

Smooth lines/ reduce pionts function.
On my current project I'm having to deal with a lot of imported Ai files that have way too many points. I have also noticed that the freehand drawing tool does not give you an option for smoothing/point reduction. It tends to give me too many points for my liking. It would be very handy to be able t...
