I don't know of you are looking for feedback or what -- if not, please ignore this post (because I mean it to be helpful). I think there's a lot of cute stuff there, but a couple of things keep it from being complete. 1) Need spaceship sound -- yep, no sound in space, but it's very odd. 2) Need spac...

About 40 minutes northwest (in Leesburg). What did you have in mind? Some kind of meeting? (One time I went to a meeting of 3D animators in Reno and found out that I knew so much more than they did that it wasn't even possible to have a meeting of minds. Considering how little I know about 2D, I sus...

I assume you are talking about this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1598634321/102-0126662-4365753 but I have no idea why you're talking about this as if it's some kind of scam, or the book isn't coming out. They announced it a few weeks ago, the ship date hasn't changed, and you can preorder it f...

I actually find it much easier (and faster) to work in 3D, but that's because I have no artistic talent, at least when it comes to actual drawing (I've said it elsewhere but for me 3D is the triumph of technology over talent). I can (and do) create wonderful amazing 3D animations, fantastic lip sync...

Well, I'm not so sure being well skilled in 3D is any kind of asset here -- one of the prime advantages of 3D is (as I like to put it) a triumph of technology over talent. I can't draw worth a darn, but I can make 3D animations that look spectacular (even if I do say so myself). Perspective, shading...

Thanks. I'm understand more since I took apart the sample file that comes up when you first bring up AS -- I see how switch layers are used to contain the expressions. I assume you do this as well for hand positions. The learning curve for this stuff is *much* shallower than 3D -- I'm finding I feel...

General Workflow?

I'm a total newbee with Anime Studio -- bought it yesterday -- and all of my experience (20+ years) was with 3D programs (mostly Max). I'm trying to figure out a good character workflow -- finally got one with Max after all these years and now I'm starting all over again (g). I found a site which se...
