Re: Moho liquid shape - how to change reference shape

I keep understanding how liquid shapes work and then forgetting about it every time I use this feature but this script tool from Rai López is always my saviour specially when working with liquid shapes but also for any kind of shapes:

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

How do I limit which layers have flexibinding with other layers? and how do I use the offset bone tool to fix the issue (the offset bone repositions the bone) What synthsin75 said is correct, the offset tool is also used to avoid other bones (like the leg bone) from moving the wrong drawing (like t...

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

I gave you the three ways bone movement can cause movement of gradients so you can guess which one is the responsible of that unwanted movement in your rig, because we don't know how your rig is. One of those three ways (and the most common) is the bone's strength moving the gradients using flexibin...

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

So I just need to adjust the gradient handles in the smart bones action of, lets say the arm, and it should fix the issue? You can reposition the gradients using the animation of the smartbone yes, but I mentioned that as a possible source of the unwanted movement not as a solution. The problem wit...

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

The problem with the body isn't actually the gradient, the gradient is fine, but that for some reason, the body's gradients get dragged by the bone causing it to look weird and not stay in the body, look at the first page of posts and you will see what I mean. This problem is what I am trying to fi...

Re: Styles are driving me nuts!

I thing the key is to understand that the style panel is like three panels or modes at the same time, and to pay attention to which of these three modes are you actually working with at the moment, which is displayed at the top of the style panel: DEFAULT, SHAPE, and STYLE. 1. The DEFAULT style mode...

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

Ok, I've watched a couple videos and learned more about making vectors in Moho, But I'm still trying to find a solution (or at least a tutorial) that will introduce me to gradients and how to use them efficiently (including as just a texture, any tutorials? For the different possible causes of the ...

Re: How to stop gradients from being moved by the bone

I agree with SuperSGL, it's going to be easier for you to try to learn the basics and work your way up in complexity. I would recommend you to start only with Moho (creating the art with it too) to get familiar with its concepts, and start without gradients, smooth joints or any other non-basic feat...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

I don't have time to try this right now but I'm pretty sure it will work. Let me know what happens if you get a chance to try it yourself. :) It worked! A few things to note: I had to remake the bone physics settings of each dynamic bone not only because the numbers were different, but because the ...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

Make a copy of the original project and open the copy in 13.5. After baking the bone dynamics in 13.5, open the original project in 14.1. Then use Import Project to import the 13.5 project, and select only the relevant item. Import lists items by top layers and groups, so pick only the one containi...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

Do you still have Moho 13.5 installed? Maybe you can open the project there, bake the dynamics, and then bring the project back into 14.1 for editing. (It's for situations like this that I keep 12.5 and 13.5 on my computer.) I'm worried about the version switching causing bugs but I may try that, t...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

FWIW, if the goal is to reduce CPU usage and lock the animation, what I did a long time ago was use Layer Comps to pre-render the bone dynamics, import the image sequence to replace the animated element, disable bone dynamics, and hide the original art. It's not an ideal workaround, but it saved me...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics

I tried this today after watching your youtube video tutorial but didn't manage to make it work. The script is creating keyframes for the selected bone, but these keyframes don't add any movement. Maybe the script is not compatible with Moho 14.1?

Re: Lip Sync setup

I tend to use less mouth shapes the more experience I get. Each person and each style has their unique taste of course, but I personally find too expressive lipsyncs to be worse looking than simple but well animated ones. On top of that, it's just more work and I think the little credibility you can...
