MRE

Post by sbtamu »

I thought I would record my actions to opening a Military ration meal and follow the instructions while recording live. It is a stupid video but at the same time I even found myself laughing at it. What can I say, its a slow night for sports in the USA and I needed something to keep me occupied!

 sbtamu... you made my day, watching your first impression of an MRE. (When I was first eating them, they didn't include the Tabasco, OR the chem heater... I used to bring my own Tabasco and Sterno.)

Get a few of those in you, and you'll be constipated for 3 days! :)

LOL I am glad you enjoyed it, I did it for pure comedy and I hoped some Vets would relate to it.

HA HA. Reminds me of my post Katrina days where for about three weeks, I lived on them. Guys at work would bring them for lunch, and those little Tabasco bottles were much traded among them. This went on for about a year, although some die-hards still bring the random MRE in. They kind of grow on you I guess.

 ...just remembered one other thing I was laughing about w/your MRE experience- almost EVERY thing that comes with instructions in the military, has cartoons to explain the instructions. I couldn't believe you were reading the instructions, I was shouting at the vid, "...just look at the cartoons!"
