Has it ever been attempted? to do an AS community, open source movie. as with the Hash and Blender people?

Well, newcomers usually take some time to get to know the software before wanting to get involved in a feature-length animation.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

My intent was not to be a partaker, not yet anyway. But it would be an interesting project to follow, and a newbie as me could learn from the pro's, by looking at the material released from such a project - if it was open source.

And it may promote the software, and maybe bring other to use AS.

newcomers? Joined 2006. Then waited a year for first post and then 4 more till this.
Id say they are definately not rushing it.

Well, Sven I take things slow :)

Got me a Job in 2006 and after that i became addicted to golf - But now I have some time, 4 month to be exact. 8 month Job 4 month relaxe, and so forth :D

I can see the connection between golf and animation. Actually, no, I can't... Perhaps being caught in a bunker as it starts to rain and the sky becomes dark (I'm talking about deadlines here).
