If anybody could help me I would be grateful. All I'm trying to do is create a simple mask. I know how to create a mask setup, but there appears to be some artifacts displaying, almost like a ghosting of the layer below. It only happens when I place a lighter mask layer over a darker object. (I'm using ASP7)

This is just a basic demonstration file of the problem I'm encountering. The actual character I'm working on has pupils, eye glare etc. The eye glare that is white gets covered fine, just not the black eye itself.
I have also tried removing the stroke etc - but still no luck
This is doing my head in!! Are there any work arounds or has anybody else encountered this?
Thanks in advance

Worked it out
Okay I have just come up with a workaround, I also noted some other post about a similar problem.
On the dark eye ball I put the halo style around it of the whie flesh in the background that it is lying on. I set the blur to 0 and the offset to 1. (I have now also found that putting a thin white stroke around the eye can also work but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt)
Now it works fine. I hope this helps
