Audio Layer Manipulation

Post by Bob G »

What is the best way to move an audio recording on a given audio layer from one location on the timeline to another?

Try as I might, I can't figure out how to do this. I have 3 or 4 short (a few seconds to 30 seconds) audio Layers in one animation and I'd like to sync them up better with the animation. Each recording is was done with the Sync. button checked.

Help is always appreciated.
Cheers,
Bob G.

This was too easy. I finally found the Sequencer. With a click and drag, it does everything I need.

Yeah, the Sequencer is THE WAY, but it's good to know that you can do it also directly from Timeline, just holding the "Right Mouse Button" over the Timeline's rule (over frame numbers) and dragging. Useful for quick tweaks and so, in most situations.
