How do I shorten/compress a group of keyframes

Post by shift »

I have a series of key frames that form a walk cycle. When I play it through, it doesn't play as fast as I want it to. It seems like slow motion. Can I select a group of keyframes and shorten them in one go or do I have to move them one by one? I don't want to mess up the space ratio between keyframes.

I believe the key short cut to use is ALT (win) or OPTION (mac).

Select the keys and hold the modifier key while dragging any key to scale compress.

You can always rescale the selected key frames via the animation tab.
Sorry for bad animation

Thanks, both of you. Alt and drag worked.
