Visually seeing what's bound to a bone

Post by Stephen X »

Hi everyone!

I had a quick question which might be really silly. I'm working on my second rigged character and I was wondering if there's a way to visually see what points or layers are linked to bones. Kind of like the visual view you get when you use the reparent bone tool, I was wondering if there was something similar that I could turn on when I'm in the bind points tool or the bind layer tool to visually see what's going on? Any help would be great.

And if there isn't a way to see this now, would it be something worth considering in future versions/updates?

Thanks again as always for your guidance and support:)

While using the bind points tool, hold down the alt key and click on the bone. You should see the bound points in red. For the bind layers tools, I think clicking on the layer in the layer palette should highlight the bone it's bound to.

Oh. One other question. Is there a way to see what bones are flexi-bound?
