Getting back to frame 0

Post by Kadoogan »

I imagine it is likely that someone has asked this question before...I started creating a character on frame 0, but by the time I was finished I was on frame 135. Is there any way to get the complete finished character back into frame 0?

At this point if I drag the playback head to 0, the character morphs into pieces and blobs - likely due to the fact that it is animating points from 0 to 135.

Tried copying and pasting into a new document, but it brings in the keyframes with the character.

I kind of don't want to redo the character if I don't have to.

Weird because I used the feature in preferences that is supposed to prevent drawing beyond frame zero, but I somehow got past it accidentally I guess.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Have you tried to copy and then paste the keys to frame 0 then delete the keys at frame other than 0?

That worked! It was so easy I feel stupid for asking. Just didn't think of doing it that way.

Strange that it wouldn't let me just paste the keys into a new document at frame 0.

My thanks to you kind sir!
