Target bend in one direction

Hey guys!
How can i set Target bones on feet’s so that they’r bend in just one direction?
My Problem now is: I want to have both legs bend in the right direction but when i set the targets on the feet’s of my character the targets bends both of the legs in the opposite direction. How can i now set the target so that both of the feet’s bend in one direction?
