AS10 window keeps being inactive when I press ctrl+Z

It's really annoying me. Whether I'm in windowed or full screen mode, the program apparently turns into an inactive window, making things frustrating as I cannot use the undo or redo action more than once without clicking myself back into the window each time. I'm sure this is some kind of glitch that I'm facing and hopefully, I'm not the only one. It didn't happen before but I don't know where it went wrong. I want to remain in the window at all times.
