Head turn with eye blinks

Post by Furpuss » Fri Mar 11, 2016 11:12 pm

I'm trying to animate a head with smart bones (X & Y rotations) and have eyes in switch layers (open, squint, closed, wide, etc.) However, when I animate the head rotation bones the eye switch layers refuse to switch. It's driving me nuts. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

If you have a switch keyframe in the smart bone action, you will not be able to switch it manually.

That helps but is there another way can you connect the eyes with a head turn if it's not inside a smart bone action?

Thanx,

You don't need a switch keyframe to keyframe the vectors inside it.
