Flat 3D

Post by Fil »

In the video, in the beginning and the end is nicely done yellow car driving into a curve in space. It's like 3D. How did this could be done in Moho 11 please? Thanks for the help.

You could technically do this in Moho by importing 3D objects and animating them but, frankly, this would be a lot easier to do in an actual 3D program. You can then combine the 3D animation with other elements animated in Moho using a composting program, or you can import the rendered frames directly into your Moho project and composite it there.

Alternatively, you can rig a car in Moho to simulate a 'turntable' motion, and tie animation this to a Smart Bone Dial. You can then animate the vehicle's group to follow a path, and you'll need to keyframe the 'turns' as it moves along the path. The result won't be exactly the same as the 3D animation in your example but it's possible to get reasonably close to it.

It just occurred to me that you can extrude a car shape in Moho and animate that in 3D too. Again, I think this might be easier in a 3D animation program but it should be doable in Moho too.
