Randomize bone position/angle?

Post by rafael »

So in After Effects you have the ability to add randomization or "wiggle" to properties like position/scale/opacity, etc. Is there any way to do this in Moho? I'm hoping to randomize bone angle specifically.

Thanks!

Set your rotation keyframe to the Noisy interpolation mode. The Keyframe panel will open to let you set frequency, amplitude, etc.

Glad to hear that works for you.

Certain 'special' keyframing modes in AE that require expressions can be replicated in Moho with a regular keyframe interpolation mode. While AE's expressions can be powerful, I generally find using Moho's keyframes modes are a bit easier to use when I'm animating a character.

One nice feature with Moho's interpolation modes is that the animation will continue playing with that mode behavior until it hits another keyframe. Then, the animation will continue with the new mode. So, for example, if you keyframe a cycle animation, the animation will continue to loop until it hits a non-cycling (or differently cycling) keyframe.
