Import a .jpg image without a border

Post by Pookah69 »

I am importing a .jpg image into a layer. It has a black border around it. How do I eliminate this? Thanks

The best solution would be to edit the image before importing but you can also select the image/layer and give it a try with Crop or Masking tools.

It would be easy to mask it. Put the image in a Group layer with a vector mask layer underneath, and apply masking in the group layer tab. Moho evaluates layers from the bottom upwards, so masks need to be underneath what they are masking. It's counterintuitive, but you soon get used to it!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

In Moho, Crop Tool is probably easiest...just click, drag and you're done.

For me personally, I would fix the image in an image editor before importing it to Moho as Maestral suggests. When you save the cropped image, be sure to save the cropped JPEG as a PNG if you want to avoid introducing more compression artifacts to the image.
