I've made a stylized figure attached to a pendulum, placed a pin bone as the rotation point and included bones for figure, attempts so far have failed, when the pin bone is rotated the layer with the body/head etc move as expected but the separate bttm arm and leg which I hope to control later don't, they do move, with the body/head, its left separate so unable to use it, inexperience in rigging at fault, but have tried a few attempts. The jpeg layers are incomplete as it is only at development stage I think the jpegs should explain the position.

Re: Swing figure pendulum
check your bone parenting - possibly the back arm /leg bones are not parented to the main body?
maybe need an extra bone or two in the torso as the parents for the back arm and leg?
and/or check bone influences -- in the first pic it looks as though the main body is not being rotated enough.
And if that doesn't help, if you upload the file someone here will be able to take a look at it.
