Need help with saving/opening Papagayo files!!!

Post by mose »

OK....When I am working in Papagayo, I have my lip-syching all set up and save the project. When I reopen the project (after manually adding the file extension) nothing is there. Papagayo opens the file, but it looks as if I've started a new file and neither my soundclip or the text typed in for the synching are there. Is there a setting of some sort that I am missing. I am working on a G5 (with OS 10.4.6). Also, I try exporting for Moho, but it comes up with an error every time I try to open the file with Moho. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Well, I am not really sure why it doesn't work.

After you have written your text, did your Phonetic breakdown,
and did all your adjustments -
you have to save your file as a Papagayo file with the extension .pgo
(here I write the extension by hand after the filename).
I have no problems to reopen my saved .pgo files.

Or you click the Export Voice… button to save your file as a Moho switch data file
with the extension .dat (here as well I have to write the extension by hand after the filename).

In Moho open the Switch Layer settings / select the Switch-Tab
and click the Source Data… Tab and import your .dat file.
If you wish tick interpolate sub-layers as well – click OK.

As long as you have created and named your mouth-shapes in the right order
(AI - O – E – U –etc – L – WQ – MBP – FV – rest)
you should have no problems creating your lip-sync - (works fine here).

Cheers
Nolan
