Once you maximize 1.3.5.2 you can't un-maximize it or resize it.

on windows or linux?

BTW
it saves its position and size when you close the app.
So if you do it when maximized it will save that position and that size.

Windows

That I understand but shouldn't you be able to un-maximize it? Nice work by the way.

When you restart the app, just because it has the
same size it doesn't mean that it is maximized.

Drag it from the lower right corner of the window to resize it.

Is it possible in py-thon, if you receive a window close request, to remove the maximized or iconized state right before you close the window? Then you can save the normal size and position....

I am sure it is possible,
but to tell you the truth i didn't really
go through the documentation to see how
to do it.

I'll see what i can find

I will post there any advances i make to papagayoMOD
in the foreseeable future.

before saving them

any chance this will work on a mac?

For this to work on a Mac
install the original Papagayo 1.1 source
and then copy the PapagayoMOD source files on top of that
(so that they overwrite the old ones)

that should do the trick

P.S. Unfortunately I do not own a Mac to confirm it.

Hello... long time listener, first time caller...

I'm just now getting into Papagayo and am using 1.2 off the LM site. Upon seeing this thread and the work that is being done to the app I'd like to take advantage of these things. However, as this seems to be an ongoing mod and running fixes to the app it's a bit hard for someone new to figure out what is going on with these patches and such.

This issue is further complicated by the fact that I went to the first link provided at Oxyshare and it is a (at least now) a circular processs... (click on "fast and extreme" go to next page, wait 55 seconds, click on "Click to download: papagayoMOD 1.3.5.rar" which then navigates you back to the "fast and extreme" page ... repeat)

So, in small words for those of us that are jumping into the middle of this thing. What do I need to upgrade from where I'm at, where do I go and... how do I get past the circle of doom on Oxyshare?

Thanks in advance,

J

That links doesn't work for me :( ...BTW, doesn't matter too much, but I have observed that if you close PapagayoMod 1.3.5... (well, the previous of that last 1.3.5.3) when it's minimized in the Windows XP Pro taskbar, extranges things occur the next time you run PapagayoMod again and you must delete that "xpos & ypos" registry entries to get the window of the app works "propertly" again... A little thing but maybe you want to know, apart of that... I LOVE IT! :D

nassosy, thanks for the links. I was able to get the file and get the program install. Lots of nice improvements on this version. (probably more than I'm aware of since I'm new).

Thanks again.

from here:

for both the password is "papagayoMOD"
These links are broken or page expired - just DNS failer messages now.

The pages work fine.
I just checked them
