Moving words around & Papagayo look-alike

Post by VidE »

Is there any way of easily moving words around when aligning? Especially if you lengthen one word to have it 'ripple' move the words after it?

Also, I downloaded, (then lost), a program very much like Papagayo, the interface was almost exactly alike, and the words were much easier to align. Anybody have an idea wo what it might be? Can't remember how I found it. (not Pamela, this one really looked almost exacvtly like Papagayo.)

I realized too that moving words around in Papagayo ain't easy. What I normally do is work backwards- aligning the last sentence first, then starting from the last word of each sentence, align them to their place in the audio, working right to left.

Thanks for the tip. And yeah, I figured oout pretty fast that that is the way to go. My main issue turned out to be that for some reason Papagayo wasn't working well on my Intel Mac. Switched over to WinXP, downloaded the Win version of Papagayo and it worked like a champ. Who knew?
