ASPro 8 working slow on Mac osx , waiting time between moves

Every 3 movements (any movement, shape editing, camera, just anything I want to do) Anime Studio pro 8 makes me wait 5 to 6 secs to make it. Showing me the color wheel and then making the movement or anything i wanted to do. It's exasperating, I don't know how to fix it, and it's the same problem on every mac i've worked on (i've got my software on the company I'm working, and installed it onto my iMac and my macbookpro and it's the same issue)
Any thought on why this is happening?
It makes me crazy!!!

Try turning the auto save off.

Ok sbtamu, i will do it. God save me if it crushes like it always do!
I've got to finish 1 min of animation that looks like traditional 2d animation by monday. I hope it works!!!

Thank you so much! I hadn't used my anime studio 8 or 9 because they kept doing this. You are my hero!
