Delete layer via text editor?

Every time I select a certain layer, Moho crashes. This has happened numerous time throughout my project with different layers. Is there any way to open the project file in a text editor to delete the problem layer? Any other options? Maybe a safe-mode where Moho allows you to manage layers without displaying the layer?
EDIT: It finally worked by right-clicking the layer and waiting a minute for it to be selected. Still, quite buggy behavior.
