View elements of a vector layer

Display the shapes that are in a vector layer in the form of a scrollable list in the LAYERS controls (like in CorelDraw). Click arrow to show shape list, click again to hide list. Each shape is selectable and can be dragged to change the stacking order. Currently, selecting shapes on a vector layer is very clunky, especially if objects overlap. This would allow the user to directly manipulate shape order and selection. Bonus points if you can lock one or more shapes (I'm always picking the wrong shape). CorelDraw is also nice that they show the color of the shape.
