Ability To Type Out Layer Name When New Layer Created

I would like to request the function as in this thread's title.

How it will work:

1) you create a new layer
2) immediately the layer name will be highlighted
3) you type over the previous computer given layer name [layer 1, 2, 3 etc]

Hitting the tools or continue to work on the canvas will result in the layer name being deselected. This function will mean new layers can be named without having the layer panel open. If a user is happy with the default naming [i.e. layer 1, 2, etc], then continuing with their work will simply deselect the layer name and leave them with the default computer allocated name.
