Control one parameter of a bone with a different one

I don't know of this has been requested before. What I'm asking for is to be able to control the scale of a bone by the angle of the same bone or another one. You would have the same bone constraints dialog, but in addition to the drop-down to select the control bone, you would have another drop-down to select what parameter of that bone you want to use to control the current parameter.

So say under "Scale control bone" you would select the bone that you want to control the scale of the currently selected bone, but you would have another drop-down in which you could specify that you want the ANGLE (for example) of the control bone to affect the SCALE of the currently selected bone.

I don't know about anyone else, but this would solve a lot of problems for me. I hope this makes sense.
