theres a 3d modler called anim8or http://www.anim8or.com/ and it has prefrences so that you can save different locations on your computer to import different things movies, images, scripts, import, and project (open). so that when you want to open a file like a movie, you don't have to start in the last place you opened a file, like your image folder.
