FPS and Frame counter

Post by ernpchan »

It'd be nice if there was fps feedback when playing my scene. This way I know if I'm seeing something in realtime.

It'd also be nice if the Preview Animation QT added a frame counter and customizeable watermarks.

Don't expect real time workspace playback.

Actually, there is fps feedback at the right of the status bar. And for frame counting you can set quicktime to show you frames instead of seconds or look for a switch layer counter someone made (Slowtiger?) and posted in the forum (I am sorry I can't search it on this device, it took me an eternity to only write this post). You can set it to "dont render this layer", so it wont be visible in the final render, but it will in fast QT previews.
