Select Shapes - easier!

Post by formxshape »

Would be great if the select shape tool could draw a boundary box to get it's selection - similar fashion as the Select Points tool.

Currently have to click one by one to select required items...

Also a "select all with same shape style" would be great.

Also better colour adjusting.

Currently if you draw something, using style, different colours etc etc. you can't simply select all or part of your drawing and adjust it's colours in one go: hue/saturation/brightness - in a photoshop/Illustrator manner. If we could, would be awesome. I'm left with hours of clicking or fixing colours in post...

In all honesty the way we have a 'path' then a style, then style 1 or style 2 as a method to fill/stroke artwork is pretty confusing and counter intuitive.
Also you can end up with hidden fills behind fills -etc if you're not careful. Would be much better to have a simpler vector system that you see in Freehand/Illustrator/Affinity etc.

Nope. There's too many advanced techniques that would be lost if it were simpler. It's better new users learn to know what they're doing, so pro users can still use effects only possible with shape stacking.
