You can save them as .MOHO files and AS will open them just fine.

saving moho files

Post by artgo »

i tried to save them threw internet explorer and the only file options are

htm html mht txt

so i did those. and they won't open from the cd into AS

so i deleted the file designation and retitled it moho

in both situations AS said no, bad header

so how do i save in the moho file format???

When you save a file open in a browser window you can give it any extension you want.

What happens when you try to save out of IE and give it a .anme or .moho extension?

There were some examples posted that displayed inside additional html that messed up the formatting. You either had to delete the extra text or copy past the code into a new text file and save it.

Beyond that I can't think of what the problem is. Downloading AS or Moho files from links always works for me.

You may want to add .anme or .moho as an extension to be handled by AS with in the browser. Just guessing though.

Yeah, I had that same problem. If it opens as a new browser page full of text, I just go back to the link and 'save target as'. When you save it, it will say html, but just rename it with (or add) the .moho or .anme extension, whichever it is. If it still doesn't work, then open it in Notepad (or any text editor), and look for any html stuff at the bottom. Deleting this will make it work.

Hope that helps.

when i try to save it out of internet explorer it ignores that i deleted it's file format'g and add's its own back on.

for example tutorial movie.anime becomes: tutorial movie.anime.html
and it's not the downloading of movies, its saving and open'g off line.
then again you're right' i do need to know more about format'g of files and how the internet works.

thankyou two. i'll work on that.
