Getting rid of arrows in middle of workspace

I cannot figure out how to get rid of the vertical and horizontal arrows in the middle of the workspace. I tried preferences but don't see it. Can this be done?

Those arrows indicate the center of the layer and can be important when animating layer movement. You can temporarily turn off ALL path display by clicking the checkbox next to "Display Quality" drop down bottom right of the preview window. I will do this when previewing animation and don't want any of the interface display showing. It's a single quick click on and off and does the trick.

Those center arrow markers never really bothered me. To be honest I never even gave them a thought.
