Audio crackling on export What kind of audio file do I need?

Post by Undiscovered »

Hey All,
I am a musician and I create all my own music in Logic Pro X and I make animated music videos in Anime Studio Pro 11.

When I bounce out as a wav file the audio sounds great.
And when I preview the audio in the Anime Studio animated music video it sounds great.
But when I render it and export the file it sounds like there is a crackling sound in the background of the music.

What kind of audio file works best with Anime Studio Pro 11.
Wav or mp3 or aiff?
16 bit or 24 bit?
Dithered or not dithered?

You are using logic Pro X I assume you are on a Mac.
Aiff would be best because it is uncompressed.
I think it more likely depends on the preset or format you are exporting too. I haven't experienced any crackling in audio export, it may be some sort of clipping going on or it could be a compression artifact. Are you trying the Movie export presets with the AAC or PCM audio compression?
