Any issues with Mac version? I'm about to buy an iMac Pro 18 core. Does Moho take advantage of the multiple cores? How about OpenCL?

Finally, what version of Moho crashes less? Mac or PC? Thank you.

I've found the latest versions of both stable. Mac and PC. I can't remember the last crash and I use it a lot daily.
Moho only uses 4 cores max.
I think the amount of RAM makes more of a difference. I'm using 16GB+

Hi, thank you for the reply. Is it in the manual somewhere that Moho uses only 4 cores maximum? What does it render on, the GPU? I was hoping that the 18 cores would speed things up some.

Thanks

Moho's renderer currently tops at 4 cores on either platform. It's an outdated restriction that needs to be updated. The developers are aware of this and looking into addressing it. Ideally, the user should be able to set the limit. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long for an update.

Moho does not use the GPU for final rendering, only for workspace interactivity and animation previews. I was told a while back that they're working on improving how Moho utilizes the GPU. No timeline given but at least they're working on it.

There were a few Mac stability issues reported a while ago but I think many of those were addressed with the latest build. Sorry, I don't currently use a Mac so can't confirm.

This is what you get for buying into a North Korean business model.
