Masking with groups overlap prevention?

Hello. I have been working with Moho a lot recently and I am hoping that there are still users active on this forum. I have solved a lot of problems on my own by continuing to play around with it but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask some questions. I am running into an issue where I am using masks with groups. My intention was to only apply a mask effect on a certain layer, but others are picking up on the actions causing issues. I believe it is because they are mask groups with the same properties so they mimic on other layers. I am trying to avoid this somehow. I want isolated layer effects on layers inside of a group that won't interfere with other groups. Hopefully this makes some since to someone who may have ran into the same problem. I will post a solution if I figure it out.
