Frame 0 and smart bones

Seen this posted by someone else before. But there must be others who have noticed this, if you have a bone layer and then a group layer with a vector/layer inside it, and that group is bound to a bone, your smart bone action will not work on frame 0. It animates though on frame 0 if you use transform points rather than transform layer on that vector layer.
Does the same if you have 2 nested groups and using transform layer as well.
Guess others just ignore it and carry on just paying attention to what's on frame 1+?
