Graph editor curves looks funny

Post by Pesto »

I just converted my animation from Linear to Bezier and it looks like this (very "steppy"). I even manipulated some handles to see if it would fix it but it doesn't. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Also, for clarification, my workflow is this:
1.Animate key poses one frame after the other
2. Distribute these key poses along timeline to figure out timing
Set interpolation to Linear
3. Created some breakdowns for anticipation and followthrough, moving holds, etc..
4. Converted to Bezier keyframes

In GE it looks like this - non smooth curves, etc...very "steppy". Perhaps coming from Maya, this workflow isn't best for Moho. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I would check the interval value.
Next to the default interpolation (at the top of the timeline) there is a number ( the interval), if that is 1 then the graph will set a new position at every frame.
w will change every second frames ( or two's) etc. etc. The is to give the snappy look of two or more as seen in most cartoons.
Just set it to one and it will be smooth again .... I think what you have there anyway.
