Setting exported animated GIF to not loop?

Post by ladlon »

Hi. I was really pleased to see that I could make looping animated GIFs with Moho.

But, I'm at a point now where I'd also love to be able to make non-looping versions, but there doesn't appear to be any control/setting to do that on export.

Am I just missing something?

(If not, I'd love to see that option in an update!)

Upload it to EZGif and set the number of loops you want. https://ezgif.com/maker
But keep in mind that some viewers will keep looping a gif, regardless of its number of loops.

Hi, synthsin75. Thanks for the reply.

Ya, I can also do it in Photoshop as well... I was just wondering if Moho itself had that sort of option, and I wasn't seeing it. I prefer to use Moho to make the GIFs (as opposed to Photoshop... I've abandoned Adobe products). I was really glad to see Moho did animated GIFs (allowing me to ditch PS), but it seemed to lack that Play Once feature.

For my purposes, I DO also have a workaround for that... on top of me being able to do any Play Once GIFs in PS, if needed.

I'm surprised you can't hack into the file itself, and changes some sort of flag (for the looping).

But, it's good to also know that some players will loop it, regardless. Thanks.

Cheers
