The difference is that some of the tools have been removed from the basic version. For example, anything related to 3D (rotating a layer in 3D, etc.) Also, some of the more obscure drawing tools (like Noise, Bend, and the Arrow tool - does anyone use the arrow tool?) are only in Pro

might be an idea to convert the arrow tool into an 3d arrow tool for storyboarding? the noise tool works great when you select all the points in a character, prop or background and do point animation (kind of wobbly, dreamy affect or for reflections in mirrors or water), i feel the bend and the noise could be better tucked away on the interface as i don't think they have regular use?
might be cool if we could upload files onto forums (like the swishmax forums) so our mistakes can be corrected and other users can learn?
anyhow good luck to Mike Clifton for the future.
