Name of old submarine animation

Post by crowley »

maybe from 70s (?) late 60s(?) set in a submarine - remember one character called "scotty" - engineer?

definitely NOT "the yellow submarine"

similar to the captain pugwash style of very limited animation - cutouts of head and shoulders -

but drawn in more war comic "academic" style - not toonlike as pugwash

The mouth movements appeared as motions of white light....maybe each mouth action was stuck on as white glow material and changed for each action

grateful for any help

Thanks for reply, Sven.

Unfortunately that wasn't it - too much action(!) - this one was literally just mainly head and shoulders conversations with occasional grim view thru periscope or the control panel.

The engineer's eyes occasionally bulged.(!)

Yes, it's fascinating in a horrible way, like a car crash or something...
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
