No, you will not find any animation there. That's why they do a fundraiser, to create a fine digital copy of a film which really deserves it. Have a look at the designs, they're quite unique, and with the absence of outlines strikingly modern.

It reminded me of the designs for Yellow Submarine. A worthy cause as you say. I looked at a few clips on YouTube and the film does look interesting.

The only thing that bothers me is that the whole kickstarter only gives out paraphernalia like greeting cards and posters, and seats in an australian theatre. But why no Blu-Ray? I should think spending 100$ would be enough to det one - after the digitizing, producing a blu-ray isn't that big deal. I guess it must have to do something with rights and lawyers.

The first thing I did was search through to see if a BluRay or even DVD was on offer.
I've already pledged to a couple of animated films on Kickstarter though so I think I've done my bit for this month :D

I saw, and taped, this on VHS off of cable TV probably 30 years ago (or at least so it seems!)

Great film but sad

Glad to see it get some attention here
