Charlie Brown Movie

Post by Víctor Paredes »

Look how fantastic the animation is on this trailer. I love this kind of movies with huge budget which move away from the Disney/Pixar animation paradigm, like Cloudy with a chance of meatballs or The Lego movie. I'm avid to watch this one (and also try to learn something)

I've attended Steve Martino's presentation of the movie some months ago in Berlin, it was enlightening. Here's a good article about the making of, have a look at their "switch layer" solution for had views!

Thanks for that fantastic article, which includes some the technical details that animators would appreciate. Just amazing the effort Blue Sky put in deconstructing Charles Schulz's characters and camera work.

I took the twins to see it yesterday. Some parts of it looked like it was rendered in something less than 24 fps.
Sorry for bad animation
