Sorry, I have no idea.

Drawing a lot of unique smear frames takes you back down to the speed of traditional animation, so it's generally something people try to avoid on rigged productions. That said, you can construct smears from vectors or use a combination of re-used smear bits and deformation. It can all be built into the character model to make it easy to access. We also have a LiveFrames feature that links with Flash and TVPaint if you absolutely must hand-draw them.

CelAction and Moho are different beasts. I don't see the point of comparing them on a MOHO forum. :?

Andy, I'll buy you a pint in Annecy this year. See you in June!

And who says Moho hasn't been used on Peppa Pig? Emily Elephant's trunk was pre-animated in Moho before being loaded in CelAction 2D.

Dang, did I just trigger Andy's Google alarm? Ah well, might as well then...

(Also the above squid creature was animated in... TVPaint!)

But I love MOHO for my vector work above all. I'd probably like Celaction, but I've never been able to secure a demo from Andy...

Wait, is this true about the elephant character being pre-animated in Moho and imported into CelAction2D? What? Why? Andy of Celaction 2D where are you?

Only her trunk was pre animated in Moho. Celaction rigs, certainly in Peppa Pig, rely heavily on “alternative shapes”, a bit like switch layers in Moho but more powerful. Occasionally those pre animated shapes will get done in Moho because, why not? Most of the time they’re done in Adobe Illustrator though.

Archaeology~~~ I find that in 2018 everyone is very optimistic and energetic. The 2019-2020 world is starting to look bad. But life always goes on. As an animator, if you are good at frame-by-frame animation, tvp is a good choice. If you're not good at frame-by-frame animation, Moho is a great choice. Among all the [model] animation software I have contacted with, Moho's [model] is the most exquisite. 【Exquisite Model】Support better animation. Of course, if your project has a long enough duration, it will take time to research and optimize the Moho model. A Moho model without an optimized structure - an animator's hell. Oh, wishing your child a healthy and happy =3
