good software for a tablet pen?

A place to discuss non-Moho software for use in animation. Video editors, audio editors, 3D modelers, etc.

good software for a tablet pen?

Post by Víctor Paredes »

well. somedays ago i found "SAI easy paint tool". and really it's "easy" (and really it's a "paint tool"), but it's in japanese. and in my screen just are shown symbols like this: "????????????"
so, instead file  ?????... instead edit  ?????... instead save  ????
(and now results that seems to be SAI is just a trial demo, i can't save my work or open it. i would like to register it, but there are just "??????????" menus!!!!)

but that is not my question.
do you know about some good paint software for mouse pen?

thanks.

The new version 2 of ArtRage is even better than the first version. There is a free version and a 19.95 USD payed version (Windows and Mac OS X).

So far, I've found Artweaver to be the best. It's free, offers more functions in the free version than ArtRage, and I like the layout and use. Total control, very nice.

If on the PC: Project Dogwaffle.

1.2 is freeware - www.thebest3d.com/dogwaffle/free

2.0 is cheap, PD Pro 3.x is affordable. So we think ;-)

Here are dabbles and samples:
