young artists show work on website

Post by adam_rp »

Hi Folks,

I have been working with several young people over the past year
for an initiative called 360lab which encourages young people to
experiment with moving image, digital and photographic
techniques.

The four particpants each created a major piece of work to round
up the workshop - and... 2 of these have been made using Moho.

The participants and myself would appreciate your views on the
finished pieces which are available to view at http://www.360lab.com

You can find the 2 moho pieces by navigating to both Hannah
and Louise's page then clicking on the movie icon at the top of
the list. (these are streams not downloads).

I hope you enjoy them - It was pretty ambitious (particularly
Louise's) but after a few afternoons with them they were able to
work away at Moho by themselves.

The works are also on view in 2 shop units until Saturday 14th
August at The Bon Accord Shopping Centre, Aberdeen, Scotland.
Being able to show the works beyond the confines of a typical
gallery has enabled us to reach-out to a far wider audience than
we would usually expect.

Thanks for all the help and inspiration moho users and lost marble
have given us.

I was very impressed with the work by the young people on your 360 website, I am sure they must have had fun creating them. Please pass on my congratulations.
