I've been making some short animation loops for Bus-Tops, a public art project that put red LED screens on the roofs of 30 bus shelters around London:

Made in ASP: Tattooed Couple, Whee!, Coffee Time, Charm Bracelet Chain Gang, and The Crush.

If you submit some of your own work, they should be animated GIFs about 10 seconds long, 8 frames per second, 256 x 80 pixels. Work in grayscale -- black is black, of course, and white translates to the brightest red the screens can display.

Very interesting initiative and truly cool works!
Some of your work shows a code to place the sprites around and morph the shapes. Which is the language used, the API and how to build and test it?

Requires Processing, which is free here:
http://www.processing.org

It's easier to do blend morphs in ASP, but Processing is good if you need real-time blend morphs with interactivity.

Congratulations sbtamu, on getting Stickman's Olympic Balloons programmed. Texas joins Iowa on the cultural landscape of London! I agree with rocky53204 on how cool it is that Bus-Tops makes such a thing possible.
