HappyLand - SOLD!

Post by Mikdog »

Hi guys. Can't find my original HappyLand thread that was pages long :? I may have deleted it a while back.

Some of you may be familiar with this project of mine I started around 2006. I was making a series built and animated in Anime Studio (then called MOHO). I recently sold the whole lot, including the pilot, the Alien short and all 52 short 30-seconders. Stoked.

More detail here: http://www.mikescottanimation.com/i-sold-happyland/

Here's the pilot:

Woo!

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks slow ;)

And thanks for all your help, showing me your suggestion for the sun bouncing helped the 'ease-in-ease-out' penny drop for me.

Congratulations from me too. That's great news :D
I still have my DVD of the series I bought from you. It's taken a while but it has a lot of charm so I'm not surprised someone saw value in it. Excellent!

It seems you are happy about selling "HappyLand" congratulations!!!

When you say Sold, do you mean someone has purchased the rights also or can you continue making more episodes?
Sorry for bad animation

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Thanks Maestral ;) end of something, beginning of another fo' sho'.
KenW - I am pleased indeed. Thanks for following my stuff.
Amiga - Ha ha, glad you got a DVD. Thanks for buying one. There were so few of those made, I have one more left for myself.
Ulrik - thanks :)
Funksmaname - Ha ha. Nice. Thanks.
Sbtamu - I am indeed happy about selling HappyLand. Someone purchased the whole lot, including the IP (Intellectual Property) so I can't make more HappyLand episodes, unless the buyer contracted me out to do so. Looking through the character templates I made with loads of pre-programmed actions that cut together really nicely (the character could walk, or stop walking, or run, or jump, or go on tip-toes etc... with the click of a mouse) the buyer may decide to offer the files for sale as a learning tool perhaps. In any event, I've got some other work in the pipeline so I'm pleased to have sold HappyLand.
Rigood - Woah, you watched all of them? Nice! Thanks.
Jahnocli - Thanks buddy ;)
